Marco, is a promising Costa Rican botanist who has already amassed significant international experience. With over 43 scientific publications and seven years of forest explorations, he is engaged in the reclassification of the Monstera genus, a group of plants in the Aroids family encompassing approximately 50 species found throughout tropical America. These species are predominantly characterized by their large, brilliantly verdant leaves that are either jagged or perforated. Monstera deliciosa, one of the most iconic indoor plants, is widely known around the world.
